A Taste Test Family Night

By February 29, 2024 No Comments

If you’re like me, constantly on the lookout for ways to turn ordinary moments into extraordinary memories, then you’re in for a treat—literally! Today, let’s talk about hosting a Taste Test Family Night!

Let’s be honest this is just an excuse to me to try different brands and flavors of some of my favorite foods. I’m the only one in my family who loves sweets so I mix it up with salty and savory items as well. And, oh yes, I’ve got a free printable taste test sheet to make it even more awesome.

So, how exactly do we do a taste test ? Well, first things first—we pick a theme. It could be anything from our favorite snacks to new international treats. I use a printable I made to organize the samples(if they’re small enough). Then, we prepare the items, keeping portions manageable for our little taste testers. And here’s the kicker: we sometimes throw in blindfolds! Trust me; there’s something special about blindfolded taste tests that adds an extra sprinkle of excitement.

We’ve got a simple rating system too—stars work wonders for us. After each round, we dive into discussions. The giggles, the “Mmm, that’s so good!” moments, and even the occasional trips to the garbage can make these nights so much fun and unpredictable!
